We are the data controller of personal data processed via this website and in the course of our services.

We collect and process the following categories when you use our site or our services:

  • Enquiry & booking data: name, email, phone, property address, preferred times, details of the pest issue, photos you upload.
  • Customer records & job data: service history, quotes, invoices, site notes, before/after photos, technician reports, signatures.
  • Communications: emails, phone call details (time/date; we do not record calls unless we tell you), SMS, WhatsApp (if used).
  • Newsletter data: name, email address, subscription preferences.
  • Website & device data: IP address, user-agent, referral URL, pages viewed, events (e.g., clicks on “Call Us” / contact forms).

We do not intentionally collect special category data (e.g., health). Please do not include sensitive information in enquiry messages.


3) How we collect your data

  • From public sources where relevant to a job (e.g., property entry details provided by a managing agent or landlord when you ask us to liaise).

5) Who we share data with (processors & recipients)

We only share what’s necessary for each purpose:

  • Website hosting & maintenance
  • Analytics & Tagging: Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager / Site Kit).
  • Email & newsletters: Breevo, used for subscription management and campaign delivery.
  • Business tools: E.G. MS Office suite
  • Payment processors as applicable
  • Professional advisors: accountants, legal advisers (where necessary).
  • Public authorities: if required by law or to protect rights/safety.

Each provider acts under a contract and processes data on our instructions where they are a processor.


6) International transfers

Some providers (e.g., Google, Breevo) may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where this occurs, we rely on recognised safeguards such as UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.


7) How long we keep your data

  • Enquiries (no contract formed): up to 24 months.
  • Customer/job records & invoices: typically 6 years after the end of the financial year (legal/tax reasons).
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe, then limited suppression data kept to honour your opt-out.
  • Analytics events: typically 14 months (GA4 configurable).
  • Technician photos/notes: up to 6 years, unless you ask us to remove non-essential images.

We may retain data longer if needed for legal claims.


8) Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erase data (where applicable).
  • Restrict or object to certain processing (including direct marketing).
  • Data portability (for data you provided to us under consent/contract, where technically feasible).

12) Direct marketing & PECR

  • We may email existing customers about similar services under the UK PECR soft opt-in, with an easy opt-out in every message.
  • For newsletters and non-customers, we rely on consent (opt-in).
